Jack -O- Lantern Cookies

Ingredients

1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Softened Milke-Free, Soy-Free margarine
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
3 Tbsp. ** Mix with Oil and Baking powder Water **
3 Tbsp. ** Mix with Water and Baking Powder Oil **
2 Tsp. ** Mix with Oil and Water Baking Powder **
3 Cups Flour
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1 dash Yellow and Red food coloring

Directions

Main Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, beat sugar, margarine, and shortening with an electric mixer.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and water mixture
  4. Add flour, baking soda and salt
  5. After mixing well, place dough in between pieces of wax paper and roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Cut out using pumpkin shaped cookie cutters.
  7. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Cool 3 minutes and then transfer to cooling rack.
